This website is really interesting and as a viewer I liked the layout and colour scheme. The intro background with various numbers strewn around was a nice touch. There was good introductory material to the topic and I think it was mostly balanced between text and visualization, although some parts did feel a bit wordy, though I suppose that's what you need to do to get the point across.
For the visualizations, I especially liked how you used data and integrated so that we were able to view multiple different versions on the same visualization. It was interesting to look through the differences between countries and years. The tooltips also worked well and surprisingly were coloured to fit in with the rest of the page.
Overall, a very nicely designed site with great visualizations.

The interactions are nice. Clicking the legend to isolate lines is a great feature, but I did not realize it was clickable at first. A simple hover cue would make that clearer. The vertical dashed lines highlight key moments, which is helpful, but I struggled to find a clear explanation for why those moments were marked. The analysis of consumer trust in AI across three markets is interesting, but I wanted more detail explaining what caused peaks or dips in the line charts.
You project has strong interactive features, clear visual layering, and a relevant topic. Improvements should focus on making interaction affordances more visible, providing clearer explanations for annotations like dashed lines, and adding contextual information to better explain trends in the data.

From a user perspective, the website is visually interesting with a strong layout and color scheme, and the intro design adds a nice touch. The balance between text and visualizations is mostly good, though some sections feel a bit wordy. The visualizations are engaging, especially with the ability to view different countries and years in one place, and the tooltips work well and fit the overall design.
From a course perspective, the project shows strong interaction design, effective visual layering, and well-integrated multi-view visualizations. For improvements, some interactions are not immediately clear, like clicking the legend, so better affordances would help, the purpose of annotations like dashed lines needs clearer explanation, and adding more context behind trends would improve understanding of the data.

At first glance, the website creates a great impression through its design, colors, and the intro part, which looks quite professional. In most cases, the website is quite effective as far as the proportion between text and visualizations is concerned. However, some sections had a lot of text.
In my opinion, the possibility of comparing several states and/or years within one chart can be viewed as one of the advantages of this project. I found the visualizations quite interactive. Tooltips were an excellent solution, since they were consistent with the website's design, and they provided additional information without disturbing the chart.
It is worth mentioning that some interactions should have been made clearer. It seems like clicking on the legend was not obvious at first, even though it was possible to do. There were some other elements in the chart which required explanations. Finally, some background information on particular trends would help in storytelling.
Nevertheless, the website was quite polished and the project looked like a professional piece of work with high interactivity level. Great job!

From a user's perspective, your scrollytelling format is incredibly engaging. It reads like a high-end journalism article. Walking through the narrative of AI adoption versus consumer trust made the complex data super easy to digest!
As a course fellow student, I’m seriously impressed by your data storytelling. You did an amazing job highlighting the gap between job displacement and revenue in the Gaming sector. Your visual encoding choices were spot on with our lectures. The charts could be slightly larger on desktop, as some data points felt a bit tricky to hover over. A stellar final project

This website was super visually pleasing. I appreciated the clean, minimalist style; it was easy to follow along and read.
The side notes at the bottom of each visualization provided some nice extra context.
I think one improvement would be for the wordiness in the descriptions in each section: bolding a few key sentences/numbers in the paragraphs that would guide the visualization, so that viewers can scan and understand more efficiently.
The interaction design was also nicely done and engaging! Great project.

This project is very well done, from the content to the design of the site. There is a clear narration throughout and in-dept analysis for the graph, which makes story very clear and easy to understand. The graph choice highlights the story even more as it provides a strong and fruitful justification for what being told.
For the design, this is easily one of the most well-designed sites that I have came by so far. I like that you put a lot of effort into minor details, especially making the graph styling consistent to the overall style, not just black and white with generic font. The design of the graphs is also very clean, making them more legible. I like that you can isolate certain parts and view them separately.
One thing that can improved is the y-axis for the graph of chapter 1. I think it would be nicer if the year is spaced out a bit from the axis line like the ones on the other chapters. Another thing is that for chapter 5 graph, the bar can be wider so that "lenient", "moderate", and "strict" are spaced out properly and there won't be lots of unused whitespace on the right side.

The visual language of the muted beige/white really aligns with your theme of AI.
I love how all the visualizations have filters, so users can really focus on what they want to get our of it, leaves a lot of space for clear information without any clutter. Tooltip helps add any additional information. All the data is presented really nicely.
Although your topic does require a lot of information, paragraphs of text seem long, and can bore users. A suggestion is using Titles above each visualization which could help by showing users what each graph represents, and they can read more if they are interested
great site though, love the visual design

The landing page of your website looks really cool. Your website is well composed, easy to navigate.
The visualizations were easy to read as well and well designed. One thing that could be helpful is having a separate title for each visualization.
Great project!

As soon as I click the website, the hero’s page is very polished, and I really like the numbers and graphics on there to show the different growth in AI. This creates an atmosphere of data and statistics.
Strengths
The dropdowns create engagement with what kind of charts to visualize, and exploration of different types of data. Established visual branding of the website, consistent integrate throughout, and the layout is well spaced.
Improvements
The size of the text could be reduced to put the focus on the visualizations. As for the adoption section, the multi-line visualization could be better presented to show different AI adoption more legibly and easily comparable.

This project was very clear and easy to understand. The way that the information was shown made it simple to follow all the data being presented without feeling overwhelmed. Also, the amount of information included helped give context to the data and made the visuals more impactful.
A strength is that the visuals are straightforward and easy to interpret, which shows the importance of using simplicity and how effective data communication is. As there was a lot of important information that helps the users understand the visuals and trends, it adds to the storytelling of this website. Having the simple design reduces cognitive load of the users and allows them to focus on the key insights and data without being distracted.
An improvement could be to add more interactive elements as it would help with engagement and allow users to explore the data more. Another thing is to make the hover interactions more specific as showing individual data points rather than a whole year would help with accuracy and usability. Also, enhancing the hover states would make the interactions feel more responsive and intuitive for the users.

The website was very clean and easy to navigate through. Each point was clearly expressed through the text and the visualizations. I like how descriptive the titles are.
Strengths:
- Including a footer in each visualization to provide context and explain how to read it.
- Color encoding has good contrast and is intuitive.
- Charts are properly titled, label, and annotated when needed.
Improvements:
- The bars in the bar chart (chp. 5) can use a little more spacing to separate the labels better.
- I'm not sure what the dotted reference lines for vis 1 and 2 mean. Maybe you can include a text to label it.
- The visualizations could use some more annotations to better emphasize and highlight key trends.
sba1954/22/2026, 4:38:45 AM
The layout feels organized and the color choices fit the topic well, giving the website a clean look. I also liked that the visualizations were straightforward to read and the data storytelling is very interesting. Only part I would say could improve more is on the interactive part of the visualizations. Overall, it feels like a thoughtful and well-designed project.
bwa714/22/2026, 4:56:40 AM
The minimalist design and color scheme work really well together, and the scrollytelling format makes a complex topic easy to follow. Being able to compare multiple countries and years within the same visualization is a strong feature, and the tooltips are a nice touch. The main improvements would be making the legend's clickable interaction more obvious with a hover cue, adding clearer labels or explanations for the dashed reference lines, and trimming down some of the text-heavy sections to keep users focused on the visuals.
Overall great job the design is amazing :D
vsa574/22/2026, 5:39:34 AM
This is genuinely one of the best projects I have seen this semester. Each chapter answers a clear question and builds on the last one. The writing is sharp and honest. The only thing that confused me was the opening screen with floating numbers like "r=0.61" and "n=27" scattered everywhere. It looks cool but I had no idea what any of it referred to.
The dual-line chart showing trust falling as adoption rises is a smart encoding choice. Also, the project tracks 10 countries but never shows a map. Given that regional differences are a central finding, a geographic visualization would have made those patterns much more immediate than describing them in text.
ylc134/22/2026, 5:54:10 AM
I really enjoyed exploring your project. The overall design is very creative, and the Hunger Games theme is applied consistently across the website, which makes it feel unique and well thought out. The combination of visuals, colours, and layout works nicely together, and it creates a strong first impression. I also liked the use of interactive elements like flipping cards and tooltips, as they make the experience more engaging and allow users to explore the content in a more dynamic way. Using your own collected data is also a great choice, as it adds originality and makes the analysis feel more meaningful.
One small area that could be improved is readability in some sections. A few labels and text elements are a bit harder to see depending on the background, and some charts feel slightly crowded, which can make comparisons less clear. Adjusting spacing and contrast could help make the information easier to interpret.
Overall, this is a very creative and well-executed project with strong interactivity and a clear design direction. It’s obvious that a lot of effort went into it, and it really shows. Great work on this project!

From a user perspective, the website is very visually appealing and simple to follow. The layout and colours feel clean and consistent, and the intro section puts everything out well. I also liked the little moving elements when you hovered over them because they made the site feel more interactive and fun to explore. Some parts felt a little wordy though, so I found myself skimming instead of fully reading everything.
From a course perspective, you did a good job on the visual hierarchy and comparisons between countries and years, which makes patterns easier to notice. The consistent design helps make the whole site feel connected. One thing that might help is to make some interactions more obvious, cause a few small features were easy to miss, like "click to isolate."

The website is visually interesting and engaging, with a clean visual style that fits the topic of AI really well. I really liked the ability to compare multiple countries and years within the same visualization, as well as the use of tooltips to provide additional detail without cluttering the charts. The overall layout feels very well-organized. I also liked the dropdown menus, as they give users more control over what data they want to explore and help reduce visual clutter.
Some interactive features, like clicking the legend to isolate lines, are not immediately obvious and would benefit from clearer affordances such as hover cues, as it can help inform viewers that there is a clickable interaction.
tkl204/22/2026, 6:22:34 AM
Very nice website. I love the neutral colors and the font choices. The context is great and I understand the topic space clearly. In the context section, priming the users' brains with the colors of the three main categories is nice as it allowed me to instantly recognize which is which. For the first vis I was confused as to why the points shrink when I hover over them. The encoding is a little hard to read as I’m not hovering on the actual points for data but rather distinct sections by year. This could be improved by shading the area the user is hovering on to give them context on what year they’re comparing. Also it looks like the dataset has some null values and the tooltips on the bar chart had a “n” label and I didn’t know what data it was representing.

As a user I think this website works in showing the rates at which is is being used in gaming, marketing and medias. I think it looks unique visually and has a format that easily allows me to scroll through and read the content.
As a student
Pros:
- All the visualizations were quick and easy to understand the information
- The information is well displayed making it easier to navigate and compare and contrast the different values.
- The Color scheme was consistent throughout the website and aided in my understanding when comparing and contrasting between the gaming, marketing, and media.
Cons:
- For the chapter 3 viz using blue and orange for the color scheme of the lines confused me when I initially looked at it, so using a different color scheme for that viz lines would help with that
dca1304/22/2026, 6:38:50 AM
As a user, this was a really impressive project. It tackled a complex topic and actually made it digestible chapter by chapter. I appreciated that it didn't just say "AI is growing" but actually broke down what that growth looked like differently across industries.
Strengths:
- The five chapter structure was really effective, each section answered a different question using the same dataset which showed real analytical depth
- I liked that they acknowledged the limits of their own findings at the end, it felt honest and academically sound
- The trust vs adoption line chart was a highlight for me, showing two things moving in opposite directions on the same chart told a really compelling story
Improvements:
- The opening hero section with all the floating statistics like r=0.61 and p<0.05 felt overwhelming before you even know what the project is about, it would have been better to ease into it
- The dataset being from Kaggle and likely synthetic wasn't really disclosed upfront, that's something that should have been made more transparent
- The definition of "consumer trust" was never really explained, a percentage doesn't mean much if you don't know what was being measured
Overall one of the strongest projects analytically, really well thought out from start to finish.

This was a great project, Vithun! First thing that really caught my eye was your excellent typeface selections; the slightly slanted letters in the serif headings convey a sense of uncertainty. In contrast, the colours, layout, and graphic elements feel grounded and professional. Together, they reflect your aim to explore how these industries are being affected by AI and what this could mean for the future. Nicely done.
Your copywriting overall is compelling and clear. One way I think it could be strengthened is adding more definitions for key terms in this space. For example, I found the part about Regulations to be really interesting. However, I'm still curious about how Lenient/Moderate/Strict terms were defined. Maybe some more annotations or text/Q&A dropdowns could support the reader more throughout the project, giving your audience more information if they want, without causing distraction from your main narrative. Well done overall!
