Real-Time Chat Application

Abstract

A full-stack chat app built with Next.js and Socket.IO. Supports multiple rooms, emoji reactions, and live typing indicators. Messages are persisted in MongoDB with a Redis pub/sub layer for horizontal scalability. Deployed on Vercel with a Fly.io Socket.IO server.
